Afghan Hounds are sensitive and require gentle training and attention. An Afghan Hound may sometimes ignore commands. Housebreaking can be challenging for an Afghan Hound. Afghan Hounds are naturally high spirited and need plenty of exercise. Afghan Hounds are best suited to families with older children and a large yard or acreage.
